A 54 year old woman was found to have a 1.0 cm solid nodule on breast imaging, and a needle core biopsy was performed.  The needle core biopsy specimen contained a malignant neoplasm (images 1 and 2) that had a non-cohesive growth pattern and was composed of large cells with scant cytoplasm, prominent nucleoli, and dispersed chromatin.  Small lymphocytes were interspersed.
